Sovereign Drive, Botley
Land to the east of Sovereign Drive and Precosa Road Botley has been promoted for residential development for many years. The site was first promoted at the Local Plan Inquiry in 2004.
In 2015 BJC Planning led an appeal into a refusal of permission for a proposal for 106 dwellings (with a net gain of 103 dwellings).
The appeal was allowed and planning permission was granted for “the demolition of two properties, No 47 Sovereign Drive and No 1 Precosa Road, alterations to Sovereign Drive and Precosa Road, to create a new access and for residential development on 4.2 hectares of land, including the provision of new roads, public open space, landscaping and drainage works at land to the east of Sovereign Drive and Precosa Road, Botley, Southampton, Hampshire.
The site has yet to be developed.
