Approved Landscape Strategy Plan prepared by Landscape Perspectives

Oxlease House, Romsey

We have obtained planning permission for residential development in Cupernham Lane, Romsey. This permission approved the ‘Erection of 35 dwellings with associated parking and use of the vehicular ingress and egress onto Cupernham Lane following the demolition of the existing dwelling and other outbuildings’. It was submitted on behalf of LandQuest UK (Southern) Ltd.

Test Valley Borough Council’s Southern Area Planning Committee unanimously resolved to grant planning permission and, once the s.106 legal agreement had been completed by all parties, the decision was issued. The latest application proposed a range of house types and bedroom sizes including 2, 3 and 4 bedroom properties, with all of the dwellings having been designed to front onto internal roads. The proposed scheme’s density compared favourably with those of other sites approved or being built out along Cupernham Lane.

The planning permission includes no on-site affordable housing.
