Planning Consultant, footballer and runner, Michael holds the degree of Bachelor of Science in Geography from Manchester Metropolitan University and a Bachelor degree in Town Planning from the University of Manchester. He joined the Practice in 2003, is now a Principal Planner and a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
Michael is primarily involved in development control matters within the Practice. He specialises in the submission of planning applications for residential development but also deals with changes of use of buildings/land, enforcement issues, agricultural and equestrian applications to name but a few. He also provides planning appraisals and undertakes work and planning appeals for individual householders, businesses, and small, medium and large house builders.
He is also involved with planning policy work and makes Local Plan representations to Local Planning Authorities, in addition to promoting land through call for sites consultations.
