Caroline works on a wide cross section of planning work including forward planning projects, such as representations on Local Plans, and development control planning, such as the submission of planning applications, either in outline or detailed form. She seeks to guide clients to solutions to planning issues in order to secure planning permission. She uses her skills to maximise the best outcome to meet the clients’ objectives whilst endeavouring to promote good design and sustainable practice.
Caroline works with AutocadLt to provide simple design solutions and to illustrate development opportunities. The use of AutocadLt together with our printing facilities up to A1 permit rapid liaison with architect and engineer professionals when exchanging information.
When dealing with more complex planning applications and appeals Caroline is pleased to work closely with other professionals to co-ordinate and lead a robust approach.

Qualifications and Experience:
Caroline holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Geography and a Bachelor of Town Planning degree. She became a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute in 1984. Her early career was spent at Fareham Borough Council Planning Department. Initially she worked on the Local Plan for the western part of the Borough and subsequently in development control across the whole Borough.
She also holds the Institute of Linguists Diploma in French and a Diploma in French Studies from Southampton University.
Caroline moved to private practice in 1986. She has been working in the planning sector since 1978.
