APPLICATION SUBMITTED IN CUPERNHAM LANE, ROMSEY

BJC Planning has recently submitted yet another planning application for residential development in Cupernham Lane, Romsey.  This latest application proposes the: ‘Erection of 35 dwellings with associated parking and use of the vehicular ingress and egress onto Cupernham Lane following the demolition of the existing dwelling and other outbuildings’.  It has been submitted on behalf of LandQuest UK (Southern) Ltd and represents the third such application submitted by BJC Planning for sites in Cupernham Lane.  This follows successful planning applications for two other sites to the south for 14 and 21 dwellings, which have now been acquired by Vivid Homes and Doswell Projects Ltd respectively.

The latest application proposes a range of house types and bedroom sizes of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom properties, with all of the dwellings having been designed to front onto internal roads.  The proposed scheme’s density compares favourably with those of other sites approved or being built out along Cupernham Lane.
